Nella settimana scorsa, dal 12 al 16 Novembre, la Bottega di Geppetto è stata coinvolta, insieme anche all'Istituto degli Innocenti di Firenze, nella redazione di un report di valutazione del programma nazionale promosso e finanziato dal Dipartimento per i bambini e le politiche giovanili (Department of Children and Youth Affair) del governo irlandese per la formazione di Coordinatori per l'Inclusione. Il programma avrà la durata di quattro anni ed ha visto l'avvio nell'anno 2016/17; lo scopo ambizioso è quello di formare un educatore per l'inclusione nell'80% dei centri che ospitano bambini da 2 anni e 8 mesi a 5 anni e mezzo. Barbara Pagni, coordinatore scientifico del Centro Internazionale Gloria Tognetti, ha partecipato, insieme ai colleghi dell'Istituto degli Innocenti di Firenze, al programma di lavoro definito dal team del programma LINC, che ha presentato le principali linee concettuali e di sviluppo del programma insieme ad incontri con la direzione, i tutor, gli studenti e le visite nei servizi in cui lavorano i Coordinatori per l'Inclusione formati negli anni scorsi. Un'importante occasione di scambio e confronto che avrà come esito la redazione di alcune sezioni del rapporto finale che sarà presentato al Dipartimento irlandese per promuovere eventuali sviluppi del programma LINC ed eventuali nuove azioni per qualificare i servizi educativi irlandesi. 

During last week, from 12th to 16th of November, Bottega di Geppetto has been involved, together also with Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence, in the report for a review of the national programme promoted and funded by the Irish Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA) to train Inclusion Coordinators. The programme will last for four years and has been launced in year 2016/17; the ambitious aim is to train one Inclusion Coordinator in the 80% of provisions for early childhood that enroll children aged from 2 years and 8 months to 5 years and a half.  Barbara Pagni, Scientific Coordinator of the International Centre Gloria Tognetti, has participated, together with the collegues of Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence, to the working plan defined by the team of the LINC programme that has presented the main conceptual and developmental issues of the programme together with meetings with steering group, tutors, students and visits in the early childhood settings where LINC coordinators trained in the first two years currently work. A precious occasion for sharing and exchanging that will lead to the editing of some parts of the final report that will be presented to the Irish DCYA in order to promote possible development of the LINC programme and possible new actions to enhance the quality of early childhood services in Ireland.
